RSG Meeting 2025

The Regional Steering Group of GPPAC South Asia met in Kathmandu in September 2025. Several key decisions were taken. Key among them were expanding the organisational and individual members. RSG members welcomed new members from Bangladesh, the Maldives, India, and Pakistan.

The network also undertook its planning for 2025-2026 following the support from the EU. GPPAC South Asia was chosen as one of the three regions within the GPPAC network to receive this support. Members discussed several local, national, and regional activities that would strengthen the network’s capacity to undertake climate-sensitive peacebuilding. They also discussed how to establish a youth network and welcome more young peacebuilders into GPPAC South Asia.
