The Association of War Affected Women is a civil society organisation based in Sri Lanka that works with women and communities affected by decades of armed conflict. Its work spans psychosocial support, legal empowerment, advocacy for women's rights and transitional justice, and community-level peacebuilding. The organisation amplifies the voices of conflict-affected women in national and international policy spaces.
