PAIMAN Alumni Trust is a nationally registered, women-led, non-governmental and
not-for-profit organisation established in 2004 under the Trust Act of 1882 in
Islamabad, Pakistan. For over two decades, PAIMAN has advanced inclusive peace,
democratic governance, and resilient communities with a strong focus on women and youth.
PAIMAN is a pioneer in integrating women’s economic empowerment and climate
preservation into peacebuilding and preventing violent extremism frameworks.
Its thematic areas include governance and democracy; women, peace and security;
conflict transformation; interfaith dialogue; climate justice; livelihoods;
education; health; and emergency response.
PAIMAN has implemented 95+ projects worth USD 38.5 million and is internationally
recognised for community-led peacebuilding models.
